Enable Instagram two-factor authentication || Increase Instagram Security

As we know Instagram is the Most using social media in the world so we have to make our Instagram secure as we read in the last article we change the Instagram password but in this article, we are going to tell you how you can enable two-factor authentication in Instagram with some steps.

What is Two-factor Authentication?

In two-factor authentication, we apply for more security how if we log in so first Instagram ask for a password and after it, Instagram asks for OTP that comes on your mobile number or on E-mail id those things that are linked with your Instagram account.

How to enable Two-factor Authentication?

For Mobile (Android and IOS)

  1. Click on your Instagram profile buttoninstagram-user-profileat the bottom right corner.
  2. Tap on the top right 3 horizontal lines
  3. Click on Settings instagram-settings button at the bottom of the screen
  4. Click on Security Option/Button
  5. Click on Two-factor Authentication
  6. Click on Get Started at the bottom
  7. Choose the security method you want to add then follow the given instructions

For PC/Computer (Web Browser)

  1. Click on the Profile instagram-user-profile Icon at the Top Right Corner
  2. Click on Settings instagram-settings Button
  3. Click on the Privacy and Security Option/Button
  4. Under the Two-factor Authentication
  5. Click on Edit Two-factor Authentication Settings.
  6. Choose the security method you want to add then follow the given instructions

Why Two-factor Authentication?

The Two-factor Authentication helps you to gain more security.
If any other person login for your account assume it will crack your password but how can it crack your OTP that comes to your phone only. That's why we use Two-Factor Authentication.
